About Us

Trial and Error Robotics is a nonprofit community-based FIRST Tech Challenge team. FIRST Tech Challenge, or FTC, is an organization that aims to inspire future leaders in STEAM. Every year, FTC teams are given a new and exciting challenge to solve. Our team aims to complete this challenge by designing and building a new robot…

WPI Animation Award: The Artifact That Changed Everything

Trial and Error Robotics took on the Digital Animation Award this season, diving into storytelling, creativity, and future archaeology. From brainstorming bold ideas to animating a futuristic auction featuring a mysterious Earth artifact (and a familiar mustached buyer 👀), this project pushed our team to learn new skills and work across sub-teams. Win or lose, the journey—and the surprise scholarship along the way—made this an experience we won’t forget.

Giving Tuesday: Give the Gift of STEM

💙🤖 It’s Giving Tuesday! 🤖💙

Here’s a Giving Tuesday post centered on your community-based and cost-free mission — warm, clear, and impact-focused:
On this Giving Tuesday, we’re asking our community to consider supporting Trial & Error Robotics (FTC #10191) — a team built on the belief that every student deserves access to STEAM, no matter their financial situation.

Our mission is simple:

To create an inclusive, accessible, cost-free, community-driven team that teaches practical STEAM skills through hands-on robotics.

Because of this mission, no family ever pays to be part of our program.
That means we rely on the generosity of our community to give students the opportunity to learn engineering, coding, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving in a real competitive setting.

Your Giving Tuesday support helps us:
✨ Stay cost-free to all students
✨ Provide hands-on learning experiences for all students
✨ Build a welcoming, community-centered environment
✨ Equip our team with resources to learn, innovate, and compete
✨ Foster leadership, problem-solving, and real-world STEM skills

If you’d like to give today, your contribution goes directly toward keeping robotics accessible for every kid who wants to learn follow the link to contribute.

Thank you for helping us keep STEAM education open to all. đź’›
