Because our team is community based and none of our coaches/mentors are professional teachers, we do not qualify for most of the grant programs available to most STEM programs. Also, one our founding principles is that there is no fee to join and participate in our program. This requires that we depend on the generosity of individuals and community businesses.

Although robots have become much more common than in years past, they still aren’t cheap. One of our most popular robots, BucketBot, was summer project a few years ago. Although everything fit inside a five gallon bucket and only required a fraction of the parts we use on our competition robots, it tallied up to just over $1,000 in value.

Our team maintains an account with the Vicksburg Warren Chamber of Commerce Community Fund which is a 501c3 Non Profit. This means that any donations are tax deductible.

Donors can remain anonymous or your name and logo will be displayed here on our website, on our Facebook posts, our Twitter feed, and in person at our competition booth.
