Hey, folks! If you haven’t figured it out already, we’re fundraising again. To kick off this years fundraising our team gave out 3-D printed sea creatures inspired by our aquatic themed challenge to everyone who donated over $5 to our team at the Old Courthouse Fall Flea Market. If you haven’t seen that post, go and read it.

Why are we fundraising you might ask? Our goal as a community team is to cover our team expenses like travel fees to competition and parts for our robot, filament, etc, but more importantly so we can keep our team free and accessible to every kid in 7th to 12th grade. Trial and Error Robotics is a nonprofit, community-based FIRST Tech Challenge team, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEAM leaders. Our free program fosters a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through hands-on opportunities that develop problem solving, teamwork, and leadership skills. Through this program, team members learn to use their skills to create a ripple effect that strengthens the educational and technological foundation of our community. This year our team is trying to raise 7,000 dollars.
Last year, with the community’s help we raised a little over $5000. That money helped us to not only to cover all of our seasons expenses but also improve equipment and grow our program. With $7000 dollars we hope to continue to grow our program and expand our outreach to include more STEAM learning opportunities. In order to reach our goal we need your help to be able to raise that money. At the Flea Market, we were able to raise over 500 dollars, so that means we have just 6,500 dollars to go. We need your help. If you would like to donate to our team and help us continue to make an impact you can donate here. If you have a business or you know someone who would be interested in becoming our sponsor, you can go check out our sponsor page on our website for more info.
Thank you so much for your continued support
