The stage was set, and team Trial & Error was ready to face the challenges head-on at the Pearl Qualifier held this past Saturday at the prestigious Park Place Christian Academy. The day began with high expectations and ended with the kind of results that only true collaboration, teamwork, and determination can achieve.

From the moment we stepped into the competition arena, the judges were relentless, asking tough questions and pushing the team to think on their feet. But no matter the challenge, our members stood tall, answering confidently. This ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure was a defining moment for the team.
As the competition began, the team’s energy was undeniable. Each member demonstrated exceptional collaboration, providing support to one another in high-pressure moments and ensuring that every robot move was executed with precision. Our team performed exceptionally well in our matches, winning most of them, and ultimately, we were honored to be named the Finalist Alliance Captain.
But it wasn’t just our own team that impressed—it was our spirit of teamwork and problem-solving. Whether it was during the intense competition or in the judging sessions, our ability to adapt to new challenges and work together made a significant impact. The team’s resilience and quick thinking were on full display.
As for our biggest competitor, East Rankin Robotics—let’s just say they were a tough team to beat. Their robot design was solid, and their autonomous programming was truly impressive. But we knew that teamwork and adaptability would give us the edge, and in the final tournament, we were proud to join forces with the Nanobots as our alliance partner. Together, we put on a strong showing, blending our strategies seamlessly and advancing to the final round.
When the dust settled, our alliance had finished in second place, a feat we’re incredibly proud of, especially given the caliber of the competition. But our achievements didn’t end there. We were awarded the Inspire Award, a recognition of our outstanding teamwork, innovation, and overall contribution to the robotics community. This honor earned us the coveted Golden Ticket to the Mississippi State Championship, where we’ll face new challenges and build on our successes.
This qualifier was more than just a tournament—it was a showcase of the spirit that drives Trial & Error Robotics. Through collaboration, problem-solving, and a bit of mayhem, we’ve proven once again that no challenge is too great when we work together. We’re ready to bring our best to the State Championship and beyond!
Stay tuned, for the adventure is just beginning!
