Excitement and pride are running high for our robotics team after a standout performance at the Gulfport Qualifier. Against tough competition, the team not only secured a coveted spot at the State Championship by earning the “golden ticket,” but also took home the prestigious Inspire Award, a testament to their teamwork, perseverance, and innovation. 

The competition brought its share of challenges. Team members worked through technical hiccups with the robot and software, discussed solutions, and supported each other and fellow teams through tense moments.  Each obstacle became an opportunity to demonstrate resilience, quick thinking, and the true spirit of collaboration that defines our team.

The team finished 5th at the end of qualification matches, advanced into the playoff rounds with their alliance partner, and—despite not making it to the final match—earned the Inspire Award and the golden ticket to state. With the State Championship in Oxford on March 6–7 right around the corner, the team is fired up and already diving into everything we’ve learned—celebrating our growth, sharpening our skills, and gearing up to come back stronger than ever!
