Hello everyone! It is I, General Mayhem, and I am here to tell you about what happened on March 28.
Our team was tasked with assisting Forestry Products with their Easter Family Day event. There were games, food, and even one noble team member was brave enough to don some rabbit ears and help bring the Easter Bunny to visit the kids!
The team made the excellent decision to bring our bot, Nautilus, from this year’s competition. We set up a mini competition field for the kids to try their hand at driving and launching artifacts into the goal. The kids had a lot of fun driving and careening the bot into the field walls and trying to shoot artifacts into the goal. The team also gave out stickers and some 3D prints to reward their efforts.
Ah-ha! To wrap up the day, there was a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids—a perfect way to end an already exciting event. We’d like to give a sincere thank you to Vicksburg Forestry Products, and especially Mr. Steve Kitchens, for inviting us out and giving us the opportunity to share our passion for STEM and robotics with the community.
