Hello, engineers! General Mayhem here with your daily dose of mayhem. Let’s get on with it!

Recently, we hosted an open house to introduce new students and families to Trial & Error Robotics. We were thrilled when more visitors showed up than expected! We even had to split everyone into two groups for presentations and tours of our headquarters, followed by some interactive robot demonstrations.
The event was a raging success, in the end we hosted over 50 visitors to our program. It was electrifying to see so much interest in robotics, engineering, and our program. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who came out and joined in on the mayhem.
Next Experiment: Kickoff!
Our team also attended Kickoff to begin the new BioBuzz season. There were breakout sessions, including a CAD class led by one of our magnificent mentors. The first session was full of engaged and enthusiastic participants, while the final session was a little more composed—possibly due to the effects of information overload!
There was also trivia, complete with raccoon keychains representing our favorite accomplice, Bandit. Naturally, any event involving raccoons is scientifically significant.
THE GAME REVEAL! 🐝
The new game has a bee theme, featuring flowers, pollen-like game elements, and hives positioned high above the field. Teams can score by placing elements into flowers, while hives can tip if they become too full. The more hives that tip, the more points teams can earn!
Our teammates are now back at the lab, bringing their best ideas, where we’ve begun planning, designing, and—hopefully—avoiding any unnecessary explosions.
Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!
General Mayhem signing out!
