Mayhem at the Market: Fundraising for the Future

Hello everyone! It’s General Mayhem here, bringing you the scoop on your local robotics team, Trial and Error Robotics! With that said, let’s jump right into it!

Ah, yes! Our annual Fall Flea Market! The day started with the threat of storms looming overhead as we prepared for the event, but thankfully, the rain never came. Instead, we were greeted with clear skies and a nice breeze!

Our team headed into the flea market with one goal in mind: fundraising! We’re working hard to raise enough money to help cover the cost of attending an out-of-state regional competition, and every dollar brings us one step closer to that goal.

We sold 3D prints, scooter bots, and beanies featuring our team logo and built-in lights. Talk about flashy! The beanies were generously donated by a local embroidery studio, Rustic Angel Designs. We also hosted scooter bot races, where the winners took home a free 3D-printed dinosaur!

Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised over $800 for the team! We are just that much closer to reaching our goal. On top of that, our newest members gained valuable hands-on experience with community outreach. Talk about a successful day!

A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped by, supported our team, and generously donated. Your support helps keep our program running and brings us one step closer to our competition goals! If you are interested in donating or becoming a sponsor check out our Sponsor page to learn more.

General Mayhem, signing out!
